Overview
Integration Engineer - Christchurch - 12 months - £55 ph (Umbrella) My client is an established Defence company an opportunity has become available for an Integration Engineer to join the team out of their offices in Christchurch. The role is initially on a 12 months contract offering £55 ph via an umbrella company. Please note, this position requires the successful candidate to undergo SC clearance prior to joining this assignment. Ultimately, as an Integration Engineer you can expect to develop and enhance your skills and knowledge with the potential to become a leader within a global business. INTEGRATION ENGINEER DUTIES: Collaborate with Network Architects to help design and build functional systems Integrating hardware and software with customer systems Provide support to system level investigations Escalate risks and opportunities that may have an affect on technical delivery Troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving network and system problems Ensuring compliance with systems engineering practices Reporting on progress and providing feedback to team members Planning and estimating development activities Supporting the improvement of the team competencies and skills Identifying technical risk and escalating Working with customers to support delivered systems and resolve issues INTEGRATION ENGINEER SKILLS: Windows Server Active Directory VMware, ESXi, vCenter Integration with external 3rd party systems Virtual Networking Software Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) Software Defined Networking (SN) The role would suit an Engineer who has a "can-do" attitude and interested in thriving in a varied and complex work environment - often with demanding timescales.
