Overview
Systems Engineer £44.95 umbrella per hour 6 month contract Portsmouth Advantage Resourcing are working in partnership with a prestigious defense organisation to find an experienced design and development focused systems engineer to work to develop solutions, resolve engineering issues and problems for a range of situations across the client's maritime product, primarily for their radar and communication functions In this position, your duties will involve: undertaking a defined range of engineering activities in line with all relevant processes and quality requirements, supporting the Mission Systems DTA, QEC Engineering team and other functions to co-ordinate aspects of engineering activity ensuring defined objectives are achieved whilst continually maintaining quality and service requirements make sound engineering decisions in all technical areas and shall seek support from specialist engineers where necessary You will come from a defense or heavy engineering background, preferably with maritime experience and will ideally be a chartered engineer Finally, knowledge in: Electro Optic Sights Glide Path cameras Air Traffic Control aids Combat management systems would be very beneficial If interested, please contact Sam at Advantage Resourcing on: 01615198317, quoting the reference number: 831637 This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89775648
