Hardware Systems Engineer

Hardware Engineer £41 per hour umbrella 12 month contract Christchurch Advantage Resourcing are working in partnership with a global defence organisation to find a talented hardware engineer to join the client's Christchurch site on a 12 month contract, paying £41 ph umbrella where you will be spearheading design solutions and verification activities on the client's aircraft product You will be working with the development and design team on devising design solutions and reacting to customer reported issues, ensuring the delivered product operates correctly within the existing operational systems Typically, in this role you will be: providing hardware and systems engineering support, including interaction with suppliers and prospective customers Providing realistic estimates for activities to the development lead Supporting system integration activities For this role, you will possess a strong hardware and systems engineering background, with a degree in a related discipline, understanding of the engineering product lifestyle and configuration activities In addition, skills in requirements, integration, testing and acceptance is needed with ideally, a background in military communications equipment and finally some familiarity in export control and ITAR regulations are desirable For more information, please contact Sam at Advantage Resourcing on my line of: 01615198317, quoting the reference number: 833002 This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89775383
