Principal Engineer

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a well established expanding company based in South Somerset. You will be joining an engineering team and will undertake mechanical/electrical engineering projects for bespoke customer applications. I am looking for a highly motivated determined Principle Mechanical Design Engineer who enjoys a challenge and is keen to get involved. Preferably an all rounder with broad based engineering skills.You will be able to demonstrate an innovative flair to solve the design challenge in front of you. The successful applicant will have the following skills and qualifications . Strongly desirable to have KissSoft experience Experience (at least years) in hands on design and actualization, ideally of transmission assemblies/gear design Capable of owning and delivering multiple projects from design concept to final delivery, interfacing with engineering, supply chain, manufacturing and test teams Strong organisational skills to set and meet project timescales AN MEng or similar qualified Mechanical engineer highly fluent in CAD (Solidworks) with strong FEA experience Salary in the region of 40k-50k depending on experience excellent benefits package.
