DevOps Analyst Permanent Surrey £40,000 - £55,000 Bonus 14% Pension Our client is a global Financial Services business and is looking for a DevOps Analyst to join on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for providing support related to the companies advanced Pensions system. Do you want to work for a market-leading financial product? Responsibilities: · Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems in a highly technical environment. Issues may be related to database performance, code defects, application configuration, networking, platform and hardware configuration, etc. · Research and resolve internal and external user reported issues related to a product or discipline. · Use diagnostic tools and/or run tests to resolve problems quickly and accurately. · Consults with and coordinates the efforts of other technicians to resolve stakeholder issues and questions in a timely manner · Thoroughly document all cases and communications utilising a case tracking system · Regularly update stake-holders on ongoing troubleshooting and resolution efforts. · Document and report application defects to Development teams and influence change by way of software or procedural enhancement. · Participates in technical training programs and self-directed learning. · Will be responsible for application software delivery and troubleshoot failure of installations. Skills/ Experience: Unix and Oracle Database SQL & Unix Shell Scripting Unix, Windows, Apache Web Server Configuration etc. Programming skills – highly desirable PL/ SQL, Perl, Python - highly desirable Nginx, RedHat Linux – highly desirable Containers (Docker) – highly desirable Experience supporting a Pensions/ or Insurance system - highly desirable Interested?
