Electronic Systems Design and Development Engineer Southport £25K dependent on experience Our client is one of the UK's leading Designers and Manufacturers of Industrial Power Control Products. They have an opportunity for an Electronics Engineer to join their team. Key Requirements BSc/BEng Electronic Engineering Minimum of 2-3 years' experience working in and embedded systems development role with full life cycle development from specification generation through to initial product verification and validation. Strong knowledge of electronic systems/components Schematic capture of digital and analogue circuits. PCB design and layout for high volume production. Development of firmware for microcontrollers in the C language, specific knowledge of PIC processors and STM32 processors would be an advantage, along with the compilers and IDE environments for these processor types. Experience in developing HMI interfaces. Experience of wired serial communication interfaces, I2C, SPI, USB, RS232, RS485, Ethernet. Experience of wireless communication interfaces, BlueTooth, GSM 4G, NBIoT. Knowledge of the following would be a distinct advantage. Boardmaker 3 or Altium ECAD LT Spice XVII simulation software. Power electronics regarding switching of triacs in single phase systems and thyristor devices in three phase systems.
