Overview
Currently recruiting for an Estimator for an organisation based near Stockport. The Estimator will be responsible for the pricing of products & actioning customer requests in line with margin targets and within timescales to ensure the brand proposition is maintained. Responsibilities: Costing & pricing of products Maximisation of margin Generate a daily Estimating overview reports Creation & development of processes and systems to calculate costs and margin Be knowledgeable in materials & packaging costs Ensure response time is minimised in responding to customer requests & prioritising key customers Communicating with departments across the business including Finance; Procurement; Sales; Warehouse & Production Evaluate sell through and trends of full product range Meet agreed conversion targets set Monitoring suppliers Negotiate fixed price periods with suppliers Identify and deliver cost savings Produce, review & update accurate product review schedules Monitor product quality and performance of suppliers Maintain all data and information Criteria: Strong communication skills Analytically minded Ideally some knowledge of the retail industry Experience of supply chain management OR in an Estimating role Experience of managing and negotiating with suppliers Strong attention to detail Ability to communicate across an organisation, with multiple stakeholders If you are interested in the above Estimator opportunity then please do click to apply.
