At present, our client is looking for an experienced Endoscopy Nurse to join their team. The Candidate We are looking for a dynamic and patient-focused Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP), with a positive and flexible outlook to be a part of this innovative organisation. The Centre is made up of 4 procedure rooms with onsite decontamination unit. The successful candidate will work as part of the highly specialised Endoscopy team to provide effective, evidence-based and patient focused care, taking responsibility for admissions, pre-assessment, assisting in procedures, recovery and discharge. You will be working alongside specialist trained nurses, reporting to the Lead Nurse and Centre Director. There is a huge amount of opportunity that comes with this role as the unit grows and develops, so is the ideal opportunity for someone looking to progress in their career. This is a full-time position consisting of 37.5 hours per week, with a highly desirable shift pattern working between Monday – Friday. Requirements - RGN or ODP Qualification - NMC or HCPC Registration - Minimum 1 years post-registration experience within Endoscopy - Passion for care excellence and patient pathways - Thirst for new and innovative concepts - Previous experience with JAG accreditation will be advantageous Salary and Package There is a highly generous salary of up to £40,000 dependent on experience.
