Customer Services Assistant Manager MAIN PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE JOB The Customer services role embraces three elements, helping find new customers, servicing the needs of existing customers and general administration associated with provision of galvanizing services and the transport of goods back and forth. Reports To: Sales and Marketing Manager DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Finding new customers; through telephone contacts, identifying new business opportunities and taking these targets to the next stage, either via a trial load being processed or by an appointment being made. Servicing existing customer’s needs; through regular contact, mostly via email and telephone contact ensuring their orders are met appropriately and on time. The company prides itself on being flexible to the needs of customers and reacting to change as they arise. General Administration; involving quotes and invoices and helping deal any customer queries or difficulties. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Helping the company satisfy customer needs and retaining existing accounts Helping undertake customer satisfaction questionnaires in line with our ISO quality standards Helping the office and staff perform general duties Liaising with the factory as necessary Inputting into marketing activities Person specification template In this section you should detail the qualities, skills and experience you are looking for in the person you would like to employ. CRITERIA SKILLS AND ABILITIES Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills Confident telephone manner Able to function effectively and happily within a small team. To be organised and efficient Ability to learn the use of Office IT systems EXPERIENCE Experience of dealing with customers via written and oral communication skills. KNOWLEDGE Working knowledge of Microsoft Office General affinity with the use of IT systems.
