Sharepoint Developers Remote interviews / onboarding available

Sharepoint Developer x 2 - Up to £65k Capita IT Resourcing is currently recruiting for 2 Sharepoint Developers to join our client, a leading outsourced Technology Partner, on a permanent basis. The successful candidates will be responsible for building solutions based on Microsoft Sharepoint and the wider .NET platform. Candidates will be expected to establish customer business requirements, design and implement required workflows, configuration and customisations and deliver new solutions and customer implementations. Remote interviews and onboarding available for this role. Key responsibilities for the Sharepoint Developer roles: Work with existing and new customers to translate business requirements into fit for purpose SharePoint solutions through the complete project lifecycle; Undertake installation, configuration and customisation activities including gathering requirements, planning, estimating, design, creation, testing, data migration, documentation, release and implementation of SharePoint solutions; Deliver, set-up and provide user familiarisation and support for SharePoint implementations; Deliver application modules using C# .net using related technologies such as WCF; Effectively work in 'time-boxed' sprints, with adaptive planning from a prioritised work list, and in a test-driven manner; Active participation in project planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other meetings; Adhere to, proactively maintain and improve, agreed practices, procedures, quality and development standards; Carry out estimation of effort for development activities; Schedule own work and update & manage progress against tasks; Carry out timely and effective resolutions to development issues; Undertake code reviews and ensure procedures are adhered to; Provide pre-sales support to the Sales team as required; Contribute to customer meetings and workshops and produce checkpoint reports as agreed; Ensure development skills are kept up to date and maintain awareness of new developments in the software industry. Key skills and experience for the Sharepoint Developer roles: Microsoft SharePoint experience is essential; SharePoint 2016/Online experience preferred; Experience of developing custom webparts and workflows in SharePoint is essential; Strong analysis, design and development skills and experience within an Agile environment; Broad experience of commercial software development environments; Experience of producing project artefacts and communicating ideas / information to others (both technical and non-technical); Experience of end-to-end SharePoint solution development and delivery; Excellent written and oral communications skills are essential.
