Overview
An exciting role in a growing team has arisen for an experienced Senior Test Engineer, joining a market leading organisation as part of their continued investment in technology. The Senior Test Engineer will play a key role, working across the organisation to plan, develop, and implement automated testing activities for internally developed applications and websites. As part of a highly collaborative Agile team, working alongside other Testers and Developers, the Senior Test Engineer will take carry out hands-on automation testing responsibilities, as well as leading and coaching other members of the Testing team. In partnership with management and other senior members of the Dev & Test team, the Senior Test Engineer will also help to identify and explore the newest technologies and processes, and use these to further improve and embed automation testing practices across the business. Key Requirements: Extensive previous experience in automation testing Experience of developing your own automated test scripts, ideally in C# / .Net Experience in Selenium WebDriver and/or SpecFlow Background working across a range of applications / websites Exposure to Agile development tools and techniques Experience of BDD or TDD would be beneficial Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills A passion for automation testing and a desire to learn new skills and work on exciting new projects Salary & Benefits: Basic salary up to £50,000 25 days’ holiday, plus bank holidays Company bonus scheme Contributory Pension Private medical benefits Excellent training and career progression incentives Additional flexible benefits package This role represents an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Test Engineer to move into a key role, where they can apply their knowledge and experience of testing tools and methodologies in a fast-moving, technology focused environment, making a significant impact on customers and the wider business.
