Head of Nursing Telford Up to £54,000 travel & benefits 37.5 hours per week We are recruiting a Head of Nursing on behalf of our client based in Telford. Our client is a nurse-led complex care provider who support clients within their own homes to live independently. A successful candidate will act as Registered Manager for CQC registration purposes. You must be able to demonstrate effective leadership and clinical management within the care industry. You will report directly to the Operations Director and will work with the Senior Management team to deliver effective clinical management and strategic direction. You will be responsible for the management of staff, resources and will promote best practices in all aspects of your role. Benefits Our head of nursing will enjoy the following benefits: · A salary up to £54,000 (depending on experience) · Paid travel expenses · Ongoing training, development and career progression opportunities · A contributory Pension Scheme · Life insurance contributions · Private medical care · A range of retail, lifestyle & leisure discounts · High 5 incentive scheme Job Role As head of nursing, you will :- · Act as Registered Manager for CQC registration purposes · Report directly to the Operations Director · Work within the Senior Management team · Be responsible for all clinical services, ensuring excellent standards of nursing care are provided. · Ensure that patients receive a high-quality service · Ensure that staff are effectively trained · Effectively manage staff and resources Experience & Key Skills Required: Our head of nursing will :- · Be qualified as an Adult Nurse/RGN, dual registered would be a bonus - Have experience working within an ICU/PICU environment, and be highly skilled in dealing with the needs of intensive care patients - Experience with spinal cord patients preferred · Have experience in a senior managerial position within a Complex Care setting · Have completed a recognised management qualification with experience in HR and staff management duties such as interviewing and appraising/performance management · Have completed ENB998 or a recognised mentorship or teaching qualification · Have a strong working knowledge of relevant codes of conduct and guidelines, The Care Standards Act and CQC requirements · Have a good understanding of Quality Assurance tools · Be financially aware with good budget management skills If you would like to be considered for this role, please contact Danny on 01473 517 919, or apply now with your up to date CV.
