Overview
Do you have a passion to work in a role that will make a real difference? Adjuvo Care have a fantastic opportunity for a support worker to join a friendly and professional team based in the heart of Brightlingsea on a full-time basis . Brightlingsea provides 10 beautiful individuals homes to adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism and some have behaviours that are challenging to services. Each Person will have their own tenancy and will be supported to maintain it. What we’re looking for: People who are keen to make a difference within the service Ability to work effectively with individuals who may present challenging behaviours Previous experience working in a care setting or an ability to learn on the job Ability to safeguard our clients and knowing when and how to raise concerns Ability to work independently and work as part of a team to deliver continuity of care Main responsibilities: Work closely with our residents, their families, our support staff and any other relevant care professionals to ensure that the best quality of life is obtained. Shopping and food preparation Supporting their daily living Assisting people to access the local community Attending GP appointments with service users Working with individualised and person-centred support plans Getting involved in recreational and vocational activities Small elements of personal care and advice Fantastic benefits of working with us: Competitive salary of £9.50 an hour 28 days annual leave Staff Activities & Events Mobile Registration process – Online platforms and electronic file clearing, one to one support throughout the process.
