Overview
A fantastic opportunity for a Management Accountant to Join a Market Leading manufacturing business based in Wythenshawe. Due to the steady growth of the business and exciting plans for the future, my client requires another Management Accountant to join a successful and established business control team. The purpose of the role is to work within the business control team on areas including costing, manufacturing margin, profitability, inventory, variance analysis, capital expenditure, budgets, forecasts and reporting to ensure that group, statutory and audit requirements are met and that SOX controls are adhered to. Key Responsibilities: - Assist the Manchester operations leadership team in preparing the full forecast and budget process for the Manchester site. - Prepare and issue monthly management reports including relevant concise commentary. - Examine all key manufacturing variances and trends as a % of sales. - Proactively review finance process performance and identify continuous improvement initiatives. - Responsible for the monthly Manchester reporting on key KPI’s and cost drivers to facilitate a performance dialogue. - Be a key business partner working proactively with the operations leadership team and their teams to drive business decisions and understanding. The role requires part qualified candidates (CIMA, ACCA, or Equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years commercial experience, excellent reporting skills, strong business acumen, ability to prioritise, able to produce accurate work, an ability to make things happen and see things through to completion.
