Software Developer / Engineer (HPC Multi-threading C++14). As a Software Developer, you'll benefit from the company of a small, accomplished team who are primarily responsible for the design and development of a high performance computing engine for image processing files. You'll work on the back end systems, playing a key role in ensuring the quality, scalability and extensibility of the code that's written, which is predominantly C++. In this Software Developer role you'll have the chance to partner with teams across the business, from engineer to the Product Owner - you will help to ensure the code meets the requirements. You'll have the chance to develop your skills on a range of new and emerging technologies, and will be encouraged to take ownership and progress your career. Requirements: You're degree educated in Computer Science (or have equivalent industry experience) and have good knowledge of computer science fundamentals You have good C++ development skills (including multi-threading) You're familiar with High Performance computing systems You're a passionate technologist who's keen to develop their skills on new and emerging technologies Desirable: understanding of computer architecture / GPU programming / cross-platform development experience / Linux, MacOS, Windows experience As a Software Developer you'll earn a highly competitive salary (to £50k) plus a comprehensive benefits package including a generous holiday allowance, pension, life assurance, health plan, season ticket loan and more.
