Overview
Job Title: Quality Engineer Location: Coventry Salary: £32,000 Hours : 8:30-4:30 Monday to Friday Job Type : Permanent This well-established organisation are currently looking to employ an additional Quality Engineer to support their existing team. This position is down to the continued growth and investment. · Prepare documentation and reports by collecting and analysing data · Confer with other departments on any quality issues that may arise to dictate a suitable solution · Oversee and manage PPAP and FAIR documentation with Quality Administrator · Carry out 8D reports for problem solving to ensure issues are resolved promptly · Assist in developing and implementing actions and continuous improvement activities to assist with quality issues that arise · Carry out internal audits · Review/approve PPAP submissions and maintain information in a professional manner · Engage with any customer queries and attend site visits as and when required · Demonstrate continuous adherence to QMS. Candidate The ideal Quality Engineer will have the following: · Implementing new continuous improvement strategies ·I n-depth experience with IATF16949 · Strong demonstration of communication between all departments · Ability to understand engineering drawings · Carry out improvement control plans including 8Ds, 5S Kaizen · Attention to detail will be essential Minimum experience, training or qualifications required : Candidates must have experience within a similar role Due to the high number of applications we receive, we are sometimes not able to respond directly to each candidate.
