Overview
Refuse / Dustcart Truck Driver, Class 2, CAT C, LGV 2, HGV 2. FULL TIME, Hammersmith and Fulham area, £14.00 - £17.00 per hour This is a full-time position Job Purpose: You will be responsible for the collection of refuse and recycling waste from domestic properties in a Class 2, CAT C, LGV 2, HGV Vehicle. We have several shifts available such as: • 06:00 – 13:15 (job and finish) there is also overtime available at addition pay. • 13:00 – 20:15 (job and finish) there is also overtime available at addition pay. Key responsibilities of a Refuse / Dustcart Truck Driver, Class 2, CAT C, LGV 2, HGV 2: • To drive and load during your shift (this included helping loaders throw bags into the back of the vehicle) • To undertake the necessary daily checks as per the Drivers/Operator handbook • To ensure that each day all completed work is detailed on your daily worksheet and that they are handed in daily/weekly along with the daily vehicle check sheets, fuel receipts and Weighbridge tickets • To comply with all traffic laws and legislation with relation to your duties including the security and weight of loads • To ensure that the carriageway is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up before leaving the area. • To confirm to all applicable site rules when offloading at disposal sites. • To carry out any other duties that may be required as directed by your line manager. Qualifications needed for a Refuse / Dustcart Truck Driver, Class 2, CAT C, LGV 2, HGV 2: • Cat C (Class 2) licence as a minimum and previous driving experience essential • Driver CPC is essential • Digital Tacho is essential We look forward to receiving your CV.
