CNC Miller Dartford, Kent£28,000 - £32,000 Company Profile A precision engineering company established over 45 years who are experts in high-speed machining and fabrication. They specialise in prototyping and have a large client base across the Aerospace, Defence, Marine and Nuclear markets. They are looking due to consistent reinvestment and continued plans to grow and develop both their process and CNC machines. Job Profile As the successful CNC Miller you will be working in a busy, state of the art facility alongside a team of other highly skilled precision engineers. Being a skilled CNC Miller, you will be working on complex components in various metals and plastics. Duties · Program Set and Operate CNC Milling machines with Heidenhain controls(Heidenhain controls experience would be an advantage but not essential) · CADCAM programming (AlphaCam, EZ-Mill, EdgeCam) · Producing components from engineering drawings · Producing Jigs and Fixtures and tooling when required · Machining various metals and plastics Skills & Experience · Programming Setting and Operating CNC Machining centres using Heidenhain controls CADCAM programming (AlphaCam, EZ-Mill, EdgeCam) · Able to read and produce components from engineering drawings · Previous knowledge of machining for the Aerospace sector would be an advantage · Knowledge of working with various materials · Machining to tight tolerances Hours & Benefits · 40 hrs per week · Lots of overtime available · 30 days holiday · Personal career development plan · Free refreshments · Onsite parking Key Skills CNC, Machining, Machinist, Precision Engineer, Engineering, Component Manufacture, Manufacturing, Mill, Miller, Milling, Subcontract, Subcontractor, Program, Programmer, Programming, Set, Setter, Setting, Operate, Operator, Operating, AlphaCam, EZ-Mill, EdgeCam, Heidenhain
