Receptionist

Experienced Receptionist required to join a rapidly expanding engineering business in Oldham, Chadderton Your new company You will be working for a rapidly growing company with a highly respected brand in Oldham, North Manchester. Working in the services industry they work with a range of clients from small owner managed organisations through to large blue chips. They provide a modern office and have a focus upon providing a fun and friendly working environment with numerous events throughout the year both for employees along with their families. Your new role As Front of house Receptionist you will be the first point of contact for visitors onsite, you will be responsible for welcoming visitors in a professional and personable manner ensuring all visitors sign in / out via touch screen technology, giving access to their private car park via telecommunications and you will be the first point of contact for all telephone enquiries. You will be expected to take detailed messages, put calls through to other departments, field unwanted calls and deal with general enquiries in a professional and friendly manner. This company has a variety of administrative teams such as design, projects, customer service, sales, service, finance and HR and you will be expected to assist in such departments with any administrative tasks required. The standard working hours will be either 8.00am - 4.30pm or 8.30am - 5.00pm. What you'll need to succeed Previous experience of working in a busy office environment dealing with visitors face to face and customers over the telephone is essential. You must have a confident and professional telephone manner, be assertive and have a positive and eager approach to work as this company encourages a positive and motivated culture.
