Band 7 Locum Occupational Therapist - Full Time

Seven Healthcare is looking for a Band 7 Locum Occupational Therapist to fill a role starting ASAP until August 2020 The role: To enable RARS to provide senior OT support to assist in facilitating early hospital discharge, ensure delivery of service and improve outcome for service users and reduce length of stay in the service area. The role will be based in an intermediate care service working within patients own homes and in intermediate care bed based units. Key responsibilities: Complete therapy assessments Carry out rehabilitation interventions Provide crisis interventions Attend multidisciplinary meetings to improve outcome for service users and reduce length of stay in the service area To take the lead for complex rehabilitation goals and treatments Complete and update care plans for rehabilitation care staff to follow Be able to work both independently and as an effective multidisciplinary team member alongside other professionals Applicant Requirements: Qualifications: BSc or equivalent in Occupational Therapy Compliance: Registered with the HCPC Preferably a member of RCOT.
