Overview
Role: Front-end Developer Location: Manchester City Centre Purpose of the role: We are looking for a React Developer with a background in Front End Web Development to join a tech focused company in Manchester to create market leading solutions. You'll be working with the most current Front-end Development technologies and taking ownership of Greenfield projects. Responsibilities: You'll play a critical role in defining frontend solutions within the team Driving best practice and inputting to the direction of frontend Spot opportunities to constantly improve client products Relevant experience Essential: 1-2 years or more minimum commercial experience as a Front End Developer You have used a range of technology including HTML, CSS/Sass, JavaScript, MVC, React, Git Superb understanding of React and client-side production stacks You have a good understanding of build tools such as Webpack, Grunt or Gulp Passionate about delivering clean code and delivering solutions to problems Self-organised - reliably deliver iterative solutions A passion for design and usability Desirable: Experience with NodeJS An appreciation of UX & Design Ideally, knowledge of TDD & BDD and DevOps principles Exposure to working in an Agile environment/agile methodologies A degree in computing science or related subject is an advantage but not compulsory Attended & spoken at local tech meetups or looking to do so in the near future Benefits: Bonus scheme Medical insurance Option to work flexibly An annual training budget Social events Bike and rail pass scheme If you are looking to be part of a friendly, energetic company then please click the 'apply now' function.
