Social Worker - Child Protection - Knowsley - £31.15 Per Hour Liquid Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced social worker to work within a child protection team in Knowsley. The successful candidate must have solid safeguarding, child protection experience and be confident with court proceedings. As a child protection social worker, you must be flexible and able to work under pressure. Due to the nature of the role candidates must have front line post qualifying experience in child protection services. Benefits: Excellent rate of pay Long term contracts available Stable Authority Job Duties: Promoting the welfare and Safeguarding of Children, Young People and their Families in Knowsley Carrying out timely assessments on Children, Young People and Families in accordance with the Framework for Assessment and working together guidance Direct work with Children and Young People Prepare and formulate care plans for Children, taking into account their views and wishes To participate in developmental activities as may be required, and to promote improvement of service or the use of resources Duties of this Social Work Role: Liaising with other professionals Knowledge of relevant legislation Working with children on the child protection register, looked after children and children in need Attending court Working with Public Law Outline (PLO) Single assessments Chairing child protection conferences Child protection meetings Case conferences Essential Requirements: Social Work England registration Eligible to work in the UK Hold a full UK licence Post-qualified experience Why Liquid Personnel?
