Homeless Prevention Worker

I am working exclusively with an established housing provider in Birmingham looking to recruit a Homeless Prevention Worker on a temporary basis until the end of June with a possibility of extending. This is a part time role and would be ideal for someone who wants a work/life balance. As a Homeless Prevention Worker you will be carrying out a range of duties, some of which will be the following: - Processing triage referrals - Supporting young people out of homelessness - Carrying out comprehensive housing assessments for young couples - To provide high quality homelessness prevention and housing options to young people - To undertake mediation sessions with young people and their excluders to improve relationships and prevent homelessness This is a part time role for 18.75 hours per week. You will need a recent DBS check issues within the last 12 months or on the update service and will be available to start the role immediately. Flexibility with working hours is required due to the nature of the service so some evening and weekend work will be required. The ideal candidate would be a driver however this is not essential.
