Financial Reporting Manager

Financial Reporting Manager Based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire our client, a global FMCG business with a strong presence and instantly recognisable brand, is looking for an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified Financial Reporting Manager to join them on an initial 12-month Fixed Term Contract. This role will sit in the EMEA regional finance team and will play a key part of the European Finance team to ensure that monthly/quarterly and annual close and compliance requirements are met. The company is a market leading FMCG company with European sales of approximately £600 million. It has undertaken a significant number of acquisitions over the years and has an ambitious expansion plan for further activity in the immediate future. The successful individual will be a qualified accountant with experience of working in a large multi-national organisation. You will be highly numerate and tenacious with exceptional Excel modelling skills and proficiency in PowerPoint. You will be able to apply your strong knowledge and understanding of UK markets and deliver key documents and presentations at a high-quality level. Duties will include: Full participation in the monthly / quarterly / annual corporate reporting according to strict deadlines, co-ordinating activities for entities across Europe Ensuring that monthly reporting within Hyperion is timely and accurate Collating and coordinating the reporting of supplemental information, from the EMEA region to the US Monitoring completeness of the close process Sense-checking outputs and flagging potential discrepancies Following up any balances not fully supported bringing to a clear conclusion Supporting the commercial finance team, as they populate budgets/forecasts Ensuring compliance to Corporate policies and reporting requirements, communicating with in-country and shared service teams as needed Ensuring SOX compliance, demonstrating a strong grasp of internal control Project work and process improvement initiatives across the function For more information about this role or any other Financial Reporting Manager jobs in Buckinghamshire, please contact me in confidence or visit our website www.mrkassociates.co.uk Every application will receive a response as this is the recognised working practice at MRK Associates.
