Overview
Panel Wireman required for a design and manufacturing company providing automated production and process machinery. They are currently seeking a skilled electrical engineer with sound technical understanding to join their workshop team assembling production and other machinery. Previous experience as a panel wireman, service engineer or other electrical assembly experience is essential. Candidates must be situated fairly local the company in the Milton Keynes - Aylesbury area. Panel Wireman / Electrical Engineer Position Overview The key responsibilities of the role will be wiring and assembly of production machinery by working from electrical drawings, identification marking on cables, crimping cables and terminating into controllers, relays and terminals. The successful candidate will have experience Other duties may include a small amount of travel to oversee installation and commissioning works, attending engineering meetings and working with design engineers to develop solutions that best match client specifications. Panel Wireman / Electrical Engineer Position Requirements Previous experience within a panel wireman, service or other electrical engineering role is essential. A higher education qualification (such as NVQ / HND/C /Degree / Apprenticeship) in an electrical engineering field of study would be advantageous. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work both as part of a team and individually. Willingness to travel if need be (role will be predominantly workshop based with occasional site visits to oversee installation and commissioning works). Full UK Driving Licence. Based within a commutable distance of the Milton Keynes - Aylesbury area.
