Yes???? Recruit Mint are currently recruiting Team leaders/Line leaders for our well known client based in Wisbech. This is a permanent position, Monday to Friday shift, pay rate £10.63ph, The suitable candidate must have: Knowledge/Skills: ·Experience within a food-processing environment and understanding of hygiene standards is essential ·Competent numeracy/literacy skills ·Demonstrable experience in driving continuous improvement · Experience in managing/directing a team Job Purpose and description To drive, lead and offer technical support to lines, for the manufacture, processing or packing of food in cans. Optimising all aspects of there lines to achieve the QCDSP KPIs for health and safety, process safety, food safety, quality, OEE and continuous improvement. Reporting directly to production Coordinator and operating as a line leader, with responsibility for all aspects of performance of the line. Managing a small team of people on the line; proactively driving best practices and improvements. Leads part of a team responsible for the delivery of planned production through production line. The key challenges faced will be to ensure guidelines are adhered to for product & process safety, the materials supply, changeovers, and organization of labour on the line; do not impact on overall line performance. (OEE) or (RFT) and the utilisation of the lines. To analyse potential problems and to take appropriate action to remedy any shortfall in performance, seeing actions through to completion/implementation. Involvement and leading company's Manufacturing System (PMS) activities on shift (5S, AM, tier management etc). Consistently achieves agreed targets and KPIs i.e. safety, Product safety & waste, quality, labour productivity, OEE and RFT. Consistently organises and plans for production maintenance. Builds positive relationships with good morale and cooperation within there team and other areas of the business.
