Overview
My industry leading client are seeking a Software Engineer to join their fast-growing development team based in Stockport, Greater Manchester. The successful candidate will need to have several years experience in PHP and MySQL development, including both front-end and back-end work The role provides the opportunity to work on our Laravel platform and receive training in Magento, a signing bonus of £2000 will be paid upon successful completion of probation to the candidate. Essential skills and experience: • Excellent knowledge and experience of OOP PHP, CSS, HTML and JavaScript • Very strong MySQL skills are a prerequisite for this role • Strong MVC skills, including experience with frameworks (Zend in Magento and Laravel on other projects) • Strong skills in the use of Git for version control Desirable skills and experience: • Experience of Laravel and/or Symfony • Experience of front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation • Experience with Sass/Less Should you have any questions or wish to apply please do not hesitate to contact Clear IT Recruitment Limited.
