Overview
Front End Developer (React) Overview: A FTSE250 financial company working on leading edge software are looking to recruit an established Front End Developer.The team require a talented individual, who can work at the coal face of engineering exceptional solutions, whilst working alongside the product design, backend and QA engineers. The role will involve working with the React framework for a solution targeted both desktop and mobile platforms. Role & Responsibilities: ·Collaborating with the products tech-lead on application architecture and solution decisions ·All applications are developed using Typescript, so previous experience developing using this language is mandatory. ·Hiring and managing a small team of front-end engineers. ·Translation of Product design mock-ups and prototypes into working product features. ·Demonstrable experience working on data-heavy, enterprise level applications. ·A tenacious approach to the development process, approaching feature requirements conceptually and technically Essential Skills & Experience: ·Highly proficient in HTML, CSS and JavaScript ·The creation of Unit tests (using Jest and Enzyme) as part of a TDD approach to project development. ·An obsession with delivering the best possible solution, whilst working with an open mind-set and adaptable attitude to cope with changing requirements the business needs to make. ·A compulsion to safeguard even the minutest of visual details and nuances are adhered too, ensuring the end user experience is exactly as designed. ·A desire to develop both the skills and the careers of those you will be managing ·A passion to explore, learn and master your craft, be that new language developments or emerging technologies and practices.
