Overview

My client are a global consultancy who are at the forefront of innovation and science in the environmental engineering industry. They are now looking for a Senior / Principal level Due Diligence consultant to join the team. Our client provides strategic and transactional advice across a broad range of assets including: Manufacturing and industry Geo-environmental containment and waste management Renewable energy technology Real property and asset management Transportation, distribution, and logistics Energy generation and distribution Oil and gas exploration and production Water resource management The team identify and evaluate business and financial risks associated with: Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) compliance issues Financial reporting requirements Recalcitrant contamination assessment and risk Social and economic impact assessment Vapor intrusion and indoor air quality concerns Geotechnical challenges Hazardous substance-containing building materials Protected wildlife, wetlands, and Cultural resources Supply chain management and product stewardship This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has experience in transactional due diligence and auditing for complex sites. Role Requirements: Accomplished Phase I auditor (EDD) and EHS audit skills (at least high level Health & Safety) Demonstrable track record of completing audits of complex (COMAH; Environmental/PPC permit) sites, e.g., from the chemical or largescale manufacturing industries Demonstrable track record of programme managing and lead auditor for site portfolios (less complex sites) Worked across UK and Ireland and internationally Candidate Requirements: 7-15 years' experience approximately (guide) Academic background - environmental engineer or earth scientist, qualified to MSc level An established Phase I auditor, desirable if you have come from a contaminated land (more Phase II) background but not essential Based in Bristol, Greater Manchester or London In return you will receive a competitive salary package including bonus and future potential to become a shareholder (our client is a privately owned consultancy practice).
