Technical Paraplanner

This is an exciting new opportunity working for an established, highly reputed Financial Plannering firm based is Harpenden who are looking for a Paraplanner to join their team. Key responsibilities Identify and obtain the information necessary for cash flow planning and preparation Compile draft net worth statement; income and expenditure statements and financial cash flow forecast and discuss with the Financial Advisor Identify areas for planning Undertake research both independently and with the Financial advisor to identify suitable solutions to meet the client's needs Prepare information/comparisons for analysis and further discussion with the Advisor Liaise with the client's legal and tax advisers if necessary Consider current and future allocation of assets for investment strategy with regard to client's risk profile and their objectives Prepare draft recommendation reports to be discussed / signed off by the Financial Advisor REQUIREMENTS: Essential Educated to at least A Level/Higher standard (or equivalent); Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or working towards. Excellent working knowledge of IRESS essential. Excellent reporting skills & attention to detail, along with good oral & written communication skills. Working knowledge of taxation with the ability to analyse & prepare CGT and Income Tax calculations Very good knowledge of Trusts Attention to detail and ability to problem solve issues whilst working unsupervised on required tasks is essential. Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel, Powerpoint), Knowledge of ExWeb, Exchange, Analytics and other associated IFA packages
