About the job As a dedicated Coordinator who enjoys a busy, ever changing work environment we need you to join our growing team at the Worcester Out of Hours (OOH) service on a bank basis. The Worcester OOH service provides advice, information and treatment for NHS patients who become unwell during the out-of-hours period when their own GP surgery is closed. The OOH service operates throughout a number of locations within Worcester, however you will be mainly based in our administration office. The Coordinator is the key link and liaison point for all members of staff and is responsible for the management, escalation and reporting of our Service. Responsibilities •Managing call volumes within triage pool and home visits to ensure we’re meeting our targets. •Overseeing the whole service and providing direction/distribution of workload and support. •Managing and directing the Coordinator Assistants to provide adequate support. •Completing the Coordinator’s log, reporting any problems, escalation, concerns or absence/lateness on shift. For more information, please visit our website: http:// [ Click Apply] The Requirements •Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills •Previous experience within an administrative role •Good IT skills and an understanding of data protection •Sound knowledge and understanding of IT and Microsoft Office. •An understanding of the OOH national standard targets would be advantageous We can offer you: We have bank positions available as both Coordinator & Coordinator Assistant, where you have the flexibility to choose when you work. We are open from 18.30 – 08.00 Monday – Friday and 08.00 – 08.00 (24 hours) over the weekends and Bank Holidays so you will be required to work between these times.
