Overview
Experienced Paraplanner - Well established firm of Independent Financial Advisers - Wakefield MB Fitzgerald are currently working with a professional firm of IFA's who specialise in providing holistic financial advice to retired individuals or those approaching retirement. They currently have a vacancy for an experienced Paraplanner to join them in their busy Wakefield head office. We are seeking an 'experienced Paraplanner' so applicants MUST have previous experience in a Paraplanning role within a financial planning business. You should also be qualifed to Diploma level or within one or two exams. The right candidate will require a keen eye for detail, strong analytical and reasoning capabilities, effective verbal and written communication skills and be able to manage their workload/time effectively. Experience of Adviser Office, FE Analytics, Selectapension, Cash Calc and PPOL is desirable but not essential as training will be given. Responsibilities will include: Carrying out fund, product and provider research Liaising with consultants to provide high quality advice to meet the needs of their clients Writing holistic suitability reports which will cover investment, protection, estate planning, inheritance tax, pension accumulation and pension decumulation planning Keeping abreast of industry and regulatory changes to ensure that all output is robust and compliant On offer is a competitive basic salary plus company benefits.
