Overview
Credit Control Manager - £30k to £35k depending on experience Crawley area Context are proud to be working with a leading family run Tech Solutions Provider close to Crawley as they seek to hire a Credit Control Manager to lead their growing team. The business works with an impressive list of 500 customers and have over 20 years of experience in providing best-in-class cloud solutions. They are an ISO certified company truly focused on quality and the service they provide. What will you be doing? Leading a team of 5 including a team leader you will be responsible for overseeing the entire credit control process. Your main focus will be to improve processes and support the existing credit control team to ultimately reduce the level of debt. Key responsibilities will include: Providing leadership to a team of credit controllers - providing support and training where required Continually striving to reduce bad debt levels Working with the team and organisation to streamline and improve processes Managing the timely and efficient collection of all arrears and customer payments Utilising bespoke CRM systems and databases to verify credit records and create reports Negotiating client repayment plans and processing payments Tracking down missing debtors Initiating legal proceedings if debts are not paid within agreed time. What is our client looking for? You will be an experience Credit Controller with strong management experience, excellent communication skills, and a good understanding and experience of collections legal procedures. Ideally you will possess: High attention to detail Confident and able to effectively communicate and explain financial matters clearly Strong Excel skills An assertive manner and the ability to work well under pressure Strong dispute resolution skills What do you get out of it? In return for your hard work our client offers a competitive salary of between £30,000 and £35,000 per year, depending on experience .
