Housing Officer

Our client is currently recruiting for Housing Officers based in Bolton on Fixed Term Contracts for 3-6 months with potential to lead onto a longer term, permanent contract. The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis with 35 hours a week. The successful candidate must have experience of generic tenancy management and hold a full UK Driving License. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience in the sector, however this requirement can be flexible. Duties will include (but not limited to): Responsible for tenancy management of identified neighbourhoods, their environment and customers within a patch of 500 Inspect neighbourhoods on a planned basis, dealing with all issues identified including untidy gardens, open areas, fly tipping, litter graffiti, repairs, abandoned vehicles, abandoned properties, dog fouling, vandalism etc Develop and maintain strong, positive working relationships between all relevant internal teams in order to ensure the delivery of a first class, seamless customer service Carry out viewings, signups and lettings process Deal with ASB enforcement and liaise with legal team on court action Conduct visits to residents’ homes as required to carry out property inspections, tenancy audits and address any tenancy related issues including arrears, assignments, conversions, pre-tenancy termination visits and to collect keys at tenancy end Draft and served warnings, NTQs, NOSPs and ABCs Effectively liaise with various organisations including Police, Social Services and support bodies Rewards and Benefits: Agile working Attractive work setting Modern offices with café Supplied with own kit to work from home Working hours: 35 hours per week Monday - Friday 9am-5pm Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
