You will receive fantastic employee discount on our products, a discounted share purchase scheme, access to our Employee Assistance Programme and much more As a Mainframe Test Lead at N Brown, you will have overall responsibility for the quality and stability of all code released into our mainframe systems. As well as working with several dedicated mainframe engineers you will have a voice across a variety of squads working in many disparate technologies all charged with delivering our business goals and a programme of continuous improvement and innovation. Your duties will include: - Defining the scope of testing within the context of each release / delivery. - Making sure that the right people and the right tasks are planned for each iteration. - Applying the appropriate test measurements and metrics and producing quality reports based on these. - Training, leading, and mentoring more junior team members. The mainframe forms the core of many of our key business systems and underpins the success of several leading online fashion brands. While the websites and the apps are how the public sees us, you will be responsible for making sure that things are running smoothly under the hood for key finance, logistics, and order processing systems. At N Brown we are keen on speaking to anyone with the following skills and experience: - Demonstrable experience of testing in a mainframe environment. - Experience of working in a fast paced 24/7 retail or ecommerce environment. - Strong leadership and mentoring skills. - ISQTB would be great but not essential. - Experience in modern test automation techniques and frameworks, working in an agile / lean environment would be even better - Experience of working with onshore / offshore / remote teams would also be a benefit.
