IBM AIX System Administrator
Overview
An experienced AIX Systems Administrator is required to provide technical support skills on IBM pSeries platforms for implementation and support of customer systems. Applicants must have in depth and high level of experience in AIX 5.x, 6.x and 7.x and be able to provide technical expertise for the resolution of AIX related incidents. The applicant will have strong customer facing skills, be able to work as part of a team, sometimes on their own initiative and often under pressure where requirements dictate. The applicant will also have experience of writing Korn shell scripts, server installation using NIM, PowerHA (HACMP) to an advanced level, VIO and Vistualisation .
