Engineering Project Team Leader (Electrically Biased) Global Manufacturer Engineering Project Team Leader role is newly created and will strengthen the existing departmental structure. You will lead a team of factory based multi-disciplined engineers. Days role in this process manufacturing organisation Projects Team Leader will lead and manage the factory based, multi-disciplined project engineers and implement small, medium and large projects within the Operations departments. You will help achieve continuous improvement in all areas. You will project manage the delivery of complex engineering solutions in support of the operations development within schedule, cost and technical targets. The role will require some ‘hands-on’ activity where and when required. Experience gained in a process industry such as food, chemical or similar would be great Job Elements: Engineering Project Team Leader Electrical Biased Provide leadership for the cell/teams.Hold regular meetings to discuss achievements against measures of performance. Plan and schedule project timelines with defining project scope and goals. Organising and participating in DR reviews through each stage of the project including infrastructure projects. Track project performance with evaluations and results measurement. Lead and support the maintenance engineers ensuring daily activities/objectives/priorities are scheduled and completed. Provide appropriate engineering support to ensure the implemented projects are completed and signed off. Produce specifications, BOM’s and designs schematics for improvement projects. Facilitate a continuous improvement culture and co-ordinate the introduction of improvements and project installations. Monitor projects expenditure to ensure costs are controlled.Assist the Senior Engineer and relevant departments in developing annual capital expenditure and continuous improvement plans. Manage contractors associated with responsible equipment servicing and installations.
