Overview
This Tax Manager role is with a 4 partner firm of accountants that has been established for over 40 years. You will be involved with a range of clients ensuring that work is completed to a high standard. You should be committed to a career within Professional Practice and take pride in knowing that your efforts contribute to the success and development of the clients, the firm, yourself and your colleagues. Qualifications such as CTA or ATT may be an advantage although they are not essential. The role: • Control of portfolio of clients • Advising clients on tax affairs • Completion of Self-Assessment Tax Returns • Dividend Planning and tax mitigation • Tax planning activities • Compliance work for allocated clients • Review of Clients’ P&L Accounts • Assisting junior staff members • Advising internal colleagues • Maintaining client relationships • Business development • Liaise with HMRC, legal and professional services organisation You should: • Have recent experience working for a firm(s) of accountants • Be committed to a career within Professional Practice • Enjoy working with a variety of clients • Delivering high quality service • Contributing to the development of client accounts • Be confident in the use of MS Word and Excel Rekroot (UK) ltd is a specialist recruitment business operating in the Professional Practice Accounting sector and I cannot consider applicants without previous and recent experience of such.
