Overview
This Tax Semi Senior role is with a 2 partner firm of accountants. You will be involved with a range of clients ensuring that work is completed to a high standard. You should be committed to a career within Professional Practice and take pride in knowing that your efforts contribute to the success and development of the clients, the firm, yourself and your colleagues. Qualifications such as CTA or ATT may be an advantage although they are not essential. The role: • Advise clients on tax issues and tax planning opportunities covering corporate tax, personal tax and other related tax issues (such as IHT, CGT etc.) • Assist with tax planning activities • Compliance work for allocated clients • Prepare, review and submit tax returns • Review P&L Accounts of Partnerships and Self-Employed clients • Assist junior staff members and advise internal colleagues on aspects of taxation • Maintain direct contact with clients to build good client relationships and liaise with HMRC, legal and professional services organisation You should: • Have recent experience working for a firm(s) of accountants • Be committed to a career within Professional Practice • Enjoy working with a variety of clients • Delivering high quality service • Contributing to the development of client accounts • Be confident in the use of MS Word and Excel Rekroot (UK) ltd is a specialist recruitment business operating in the Professional Practice Accounting sector and I cannot consider applicants without previous and recent experience of such.
