The job The purpose of the Production Line Manager is to lead and motivate staff to achieve efficient and cost-effective packing of product to meet customer standards and company targets plus be responsible for key areas of the packing facility. You will plan packing programmes to meet customer volumes required, oversee and plan raw material / packed product and packing material stocks whilst ensuring that all statutory, legal and due diligence criteria are adhered to in full. As well as maximising the efficient output of all packing lines, you will train, supervise and monitor all packhouse staff. The maintenance of both records and packing lines, ancillary equipment and packhouse area in a hygienic, clean and tidy condition will also fall under your remit. Your experience We are looking for someone who is highly organised, a fast learner plus be confident in managing a team. You will have previous experience of working in a warehouse, packhouse or similar environment, most ideally within fresh produce. The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is required whilst ensuring operating procedures are followed. More details The Production Line Manager job is based in the Hampshire region and is paying £30,000 plus bonus. The working hours are Monday to Friday, with the flexibility to cover weekends on occasion.
