The role of a clerical officer during the coronavirus epidemic: As with any role at present these duties are subject to change and we require all applicants to have a fluid and flexible approach if successful. Retrieving patient records both from the electronic database as well as paper files from the huge archive library. This must be done quickly and accurately to enable patients to be seen efficiently. Returning records once used Accurately logging in and out the details of the medical records Deliver medical records around the hospital grounds, being safe whilst also being mindful of time. You will be on your feet predominantly and you will cover large distances each day Helping with other clerical, administrative and reception duties as required TAKING EVERY PRECAUTION TO BE SAFE AND HYGIENIC AT ALL TIMES WHILST AT WORK AND AT HOME SO AS NOT TO SPREAD CORONAVIRUS Though efforts shall be made to alleviate any patient contact, you shall be working in a hospital environment and this may not be avoidable, every effort will however be made to keep you safe - HOWEVER THIS IS A FRONT LINE ROLE.
