Providing Floating Support to customers with mental health illness you will be key to helping them maintain their independence and sustaining their tenancies. You will be responsible for support plans and liaising with others that support customers on a day to day basis to remain independent. This includes encouraging customers to be as independent as possible and be involved in social activities so they are a valuable part of the community. Within this role you will be required to work flexible over a seven-day rota including bank holidays. The rota is 37.5 hours a week and includes earlies, 7.30 am - 3.00pm, lates 2.30pm - 10.00pm. What you`ll need to succeed You will need to have a positive approach to life and want a role where others gain from what you are doing. You will be driven by seeing customers facing, and overcoming, new challenges on a daily basis. Previous experience in a similar position is not essential an understanding of mental health illnesses is and advantage. You must demonstrate you understand the requirements of providing support to vulnerable adults and have a passion for a career in adult social care.
