Overview
Manpower are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our Client based in Stevenage for a Stores Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a growing company on a permanent basis with an immediate start Position available: Stores Manager Salary: £30,000 per annum depending on experience Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 08:00-17:00 and Friday 08:00-13:00. However, being a manger there will be times where you would be required to start before 08:00 and finish later depending on how busy our client is. You will also be responsible for opening and closing the stores department. Responsibilities and requirements: Must have experience managing a team of 6 or more people in a busy working environment. Good with multi-tasking and working to tight deadlines. Must have good communication skills as you will be in contact with both customers and suppliers daily. Experience in contract electronic manufacturing would be an advantage. Able to work with top level management and take instructions and follow instructions through with your team. Experience in controlling stock and creating spread sheets to input stock onto. Training and developing staff. Benefits include: 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, Christmas shut down.
