About the role Vocare Ltd has an exciting new opportunity for a Driver to join their Operations Team within Whitby Hospital. This is an opportunity to provide a positive, friendly and safe transportation service to our GP'S. Duties within the role - Provide safe and efficient transportation service to GP'S. - Ensure vehicle checks are carried out on a shift by shift basis. Notify any required repairs as necessary to vehicles and equipment being used - Complete time sheets, vehicle log sheets and log books and report all discrepancies to the Driver Team Leader. - Develop and maintain a personal understanding and knowledge of the vehicle fleet in order to ensure a flexible approach to driving all vehicles. - Ensure the security of drugs and clinical equipment being collected and returned and use appropriate means to record usage. What we are looking for Successful candidates will be professional in approach, have excellent customer service skills and a desire to deliver quality. You will have experience of working as part of a team and experience in fleet maintenance. You will have the ability to demonstrate confidentiality and ensure the safe and secure delivery of medication and equipment. You will be flexible to work a variety of shifts including weekends and nights when required Please note you will need to hold a full driver's license with no more than six penalty points to be considered for this role.
