7.5 Tonne Driver

Accept Recruitment are now recruiting for 7.5 Tonne HGV Drivers on an on-going basis for a well-known furniture company based in Northampton. As a successful candidate for the 7.5 Tonne Driving role, you will be required to deliver furniture to customers homes alongside a second driver or a drivers mate. You will need to be able to give excellent customer service. Your daily duties will include: Loading/unloading of the vehicle with support Collecting stock Meeting deadlines for scheduled deliveries Handballing Ensuring the best service is provided at all time Dealing with customers face to face and on the phone to confirm deliveries Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers' expectations You will require to have the following: 7.5 Tonne (C1) Licence A minimum of 3 months’ experience in a similar position prefered clear licence Valid UK License with C1 Entitlement. Driver CPC qualification Digital Tachograph card 7.5 Tonne Driver with own PPE Available shifts: Monday to Friday Tuesday to Saturday Start times between 05:30- 09:00, average shifts’ length up to 10 hours Pay rate: (Ltd) £12.50 p/h (PAYE) £11.00 p/h If you are interested in our job offer, please apply today or give us a call.
