Overview
Working initially through GR Employment, you will be working for the worldwide market leader in parcel logistics at their new depot based in Barking, driving the 7.5T lorries. This role will involve delivering & collecting parcels (mainly bulk) within the east end of Greater London & will require you to be a fit dedicated individual with a good attention to detail & excellent customer service. In order to drive the 7.5T you must have held a valid licence for at least 1 year with no more than 6 points. The right candidate will have to complete a 5 year vetting history & DBS check prior to commencement due to security regulations. This is an excellent opportunity to work for the market leader within a great working environment whilst driving the 7.5T lorries. Hours are Monday-Friday with a start time around 8/9 am till finish. Pay rate is £12.97 basic (up to 45 hours per week) with an overtime rate of £19.45 (above 45 hours) Shift Premium £2.30 (After 19:00pm) · Full training provided · Ongoing support from your dedicated consultant · Weekly pay · Pension scheme · Employee assistance programme · 28 days holiday entitlement.
