Overview

THE OPPORTUNITY: Macildowie are currently recruiting for a Commercial Assistant working for company based in Loughborough. The main purpose of the role is to support the commercial team in the delivery of the customer accounts plan, bid programme and prospective customer presentations This is a permanent full time position working Monday to Friday. THE ROLE & YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: Support the pitch and proposal process from initiation through to implementation Own the sales pipeline content ensuring updates are captured in a timely manner Ensure the bid library is up to date Complete 'supplier administration' forms and PQQ's in a timely manner; ensure a document audit trail is maintained Maintain a bid pipeline and result database Gathering insight via third party database's to identify and provide prospective opportunities to the sales teams Provide a summary of regional/product opportunities of new construction projects for the sales team to pursue Develop and maintain access to all bid opportunity portals; including optimising key word searches Proactively interrogate a suite of opportunity portals for relevant projects / contracts Support the account planning cycle from receipt of contract through to retention. Support the Sales team through creating sales pitch presentations for both prospective and existing accounts Create a library of images to be used in presentations Own a central repository of customer contractual agreements (including a contract renewal and rebate pipeline) Creation of bespoke customer management information reports for the top 20 Key Accounts. Ensuring data and delivery is produced in accordance with the service level agreements Identify trends and create commentary for the reader to undertake actions from EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE: Highly creative individual with strong abilities on Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel Motivated and confident with strong writing skills Excellent attention to details Strong time management and prioritisation skills Strong team player with ability to network with all departments, in particular supporting the individual sales team members.
