Overview

TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting for an experienced IT Manager, on behalf of our client, one of Ireland's leading independent providers of diagnostic imaging and outpatient services. This company uses state of the art, cutting edge technology and offers healthcare services across Ireland, with a staff of 300. As IT Manager, you will be supporting the country leadership team, representing the global Digital Solutions/Information Technology organization in the country, improving operations and adapting IT systems locally, as well as developing a country wide IT strategy, aligning to the overall group IT policy. Duties will include but are not limited to: Ensuring that IT operational execution meets the highest professional levels and those required by the end-user community and other internal/external stakeholders Support to simplify processes, improve operations and adapt IT systems locally To implement corporate programs locally, ensure local needs are considered in the overall group strategy, funding and roadmap, provide support to local business needs Ensures group IT policies, procedures and guidelines are implemented in the country Manages local business leadership expectations towards digital capabilities, ensures digital is an integral part of local business strategy both in the context of opportunities and constraints Provides continuous education to local staff on information technology risk and compliance implications with special focus on information security and data management Leading, training and recruiting local IT staff Defines and executes local projects, deploys global projects (both application, infrastructure and information security) in the country Applies group program and project management practices and policies in execution follows the program/project management process, sets budget, resource plan and timeline. Ensures that IT operational execution meets the highest professional levels and those required by the end-user community and other internal/external stakeholders Maintains quality service by implementing global operational policies and procedures, educates partners and end-users on how to leverage these services (e.g. incident management, asset management, change management etc.) Serves as the escalation point to local staff for information technology or system problems Provides country-specific input to IT budget planning and management process This is a full-time, permanent position, based in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT Manager with a keen interest or background in the Healthcare industry. Key Requirements: Essential Criteria: •MSc/BSc degree in computer science, engineering or economics •8 years' experience, including 3 years management experience •Business oriented mindset, good level of understanding business strategies and the language of finance •Proven track record in successful program/project delivery •Process-thinking •IT (professional and technical) skills Skills and Competencies: •Good business process knowledge and proven experience in using technology to improve efficiency •Project Management skills and experience in using structured project management frameworks •Strong leadership and decision-making skills •Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills •Understanding of complex information and requirements •Good prioritization skills and be flexible enough to adapt plans •An ability to work to tight deadlines and within constraints •Knowledge of GDPR/Data Protection •Experience in Healthcare systems is very desirable To apply, please submit a copy of your CV, highlighting your relevant skills and experience for this role, to Robyn at TTM Healthcare or request a call back to discuss further.
