With a new Senior Management Team in place, and an ambitious Business Plan having identified the key strategic partnerships and developments that the organisation will be focusing on over the next three/four years, the Northcott Theatre is entering a period of exciting new opportunities, as it seeks to play a pivotal role in shaping the future cultural and creative landscape of Exeter. Following a competitive recruitment process in Autumn 2019, a talented cohort of new Trustees was appointed, bringing the skills, knowledge and experience needed to capitalise upon the opportunities available through this exciting phase in the Northcott’s development and to realise the theatre’s full potential moving forward. After eight years at the Northcott, our current Chair, Lady (Lucy) Studholme, is stepping down this year, having reached the end of her term as a Trustee, and we are now looking for an exceptional candidate to join the Board to take on this hugely important role. We are looking for an individual who shares our passion and commitment to theatre and live performance, and our ambition for the Northcott, as well as the conviction that the arts are vital for the pride and well-being of a thriving and inclusive city and region.
