Overview
This ambitious FMCG are looking for a driven and ambitious Assistant Accountant to join their closely knit team in Ely to continue their development and progression. The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for supporting the wider subsidiaries with the management accounts and month end processing up to trial balance. Description The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for: Supporting the business subsidiaries with key financial support Responsible for the month end processes of the business; trial balance, prepayments and accruals Supporting with the budget and forecasting processes to inform strategic decisions within the business Assisting with the production of key financial analysis Supporting both the purchase and sales ledger Provide continual development for the business processes and systems Profile The successful candidate for the Assistant Accountant position will be: Actively studying their AAT, CIMA or ACCA qualification A strong understanding of Excel; V-Lookup and Pivot Tables An energetic team player not scared to roll up their sleeves Ambitious and driven Previous FMCG experience would be advantageous Job Offer The successful candidate will be joining and established Ely based business with strong development plans, not only for the business but also its employees.
